This Is NOT Normal

The institutionalist kink of waiting until the crime takes place for any legitimate action is what’s gotten us here. People (in the MENA region) had been pointing fingers at Israel for decades, saying that this is inevitable, but naturally, why would a white Europeans bother with treating brown people as equals? The white man always knows better, but of course! They’re the experts at committing genocides so they would know one when they see it, right? Right?

We’re “antisemitic” because we don’t want to give the Zionists their turn at exterminating another people. Our people. All of this was preventable if idiots in the West (which had been the majority up until like two years ago) hadn’t put their hands over their ears, gone “tralalala,” and lectured us about Realpolitik. Giving lip service about human rights is not gonna absolve these governments and the useful idiots that supported them of the crime of not listening and helping prevent these atrocities before so many lives were lost, and over what?

Oil? Geopolitics? Fascist pride? Or the ethnic supremacy that justifies killing as long as the slaughtered are a darker shade than pastel? But hey, we’re expendable, reproduce like flies, and use our children as human shields, right? It’s fine if a brown child dies. Their parents will just pop another anyway.

I can’t watch any news because it’s all so horrific, and this shit never stops! Now imagine not simply watching from afar but living those conditions… shudders. I’ve lived under the threat of bombardment – with the occasional bombs being dropped every now and again in addition to some car bombs in busy parts of the city – and under siege for a very short time compared to Gazans, so I can only imagine the horrors of the orders of magnitude worse conditions that Palestinians have to make do with.

This is not a Netanyahu thing. This is not something a single administration caused. Blaming and punishing the figureheads is going to get no one – except do-good pretentious liberals – anywhere. Netanyahu/Trump/whoever are the symptom, not the cause. Just like getting rid of Hitler, Mussolini or Stalin never contributed to eradicating the cults surrounding them. Nazis are alive and thriving, now more than ever! Tankies are currently somewhere jerking off to some massacre taking place, telling themselves it’s for the greater good (of whom, though?). And Zionists do what they’ve always done in broad daylight. They aren’t becoming any more audacious in their atrocities than they’ve been before, at least not to us Arabs, that is.

They are just not sugarcoating them to the West anymore now. To us, they’ve always been upfront about their plans and how they see us as Untermenschen. Meanwhile genteel society is busy criminalizing what few pushback they’re receiving for sponsoring a genocide.
