Porco Rosso 🎥

This is my first Ghibli movie and not even their best, supposedly. It’s one of the most magical animated movies I’ve ever seen. If this doesn’t make their top 10, I’m endlessly excited to see their “better” ones. I really liked the context of this movie – set in the 1930s of Italy. My favorite line’s gotta be the most famous one: “I’d rather be a pig than a fascist.” Period, king! Just wish he’d been less of a misogynist, although that’s probably attributable to the setting.
