I think my crisis is over, pretty much. It has been a turbulent week for me, emotionally, where I completely broke down on the inside for reasons that are lowkey ridiculous. It happens, I guess. I was kinda burnt out from the last couple of months and just need a break. Doing better now!

I decided to switch up the postroll series and morph it into a week notes series instead. This is a series in which I sort of recap my week and attach some interesting links at the bottom. Inspired by Jedda’s week notes and pretty much everyone who’s doing it as well.

It is supposed to replace my postroll series because I found it weird to just drop some links in a post and it turns out I don’t always have comments for links I post.

Despite all the doom and gloom hanging in the air these days, I’m kinda hopeful because this is a once in a lifetime chance for shit to break down and for us to rebuild it completely differently and on our terms, instead of those of a relenting elite. As always, a bitch can only hope <3.

On another note, I’m currently experimenting with keeping my MusicBox inside of Things 3. This has the added benefit that I can add some metadata like the reason why I added the album to begin with and who recommended it to me with a tag. I could obviously write this into the note section in MusicBox, but it would be hidden.

Furthermore, having these albums as actionable items in my task manager might increase the likelihood that I finally check them out; although that’s just a bonus, to be honest. Here is how this Things project looks like:

I blackened the name of the person who recommended these albums to me because I’d rather not expose them like that. At the top I can filter by tag and instantly see which ones came from whom. That’s honestly the biggest reason I added my MusicBox to Things. Will see how this pans out!

This week I found a game I didn’t know I needed: Tatami. It’s a puzzle game that is casual and allows for skipping hard levels with no penalty. Unfortunately, it’s iOS-only because it’s written in Swift, but I’m sure there are similar games on Android. Currently on level 193 even though I only started playing it like two days ago. It’s just the perfect game to play while watching video essays or listening to podcasts.
